At Eagle Hill School, we understand that our students want options when it comes to their daily food choices. Equipped with a professional culinary staff with decades of experience serving our community, our students are empowered to make healthy decisions to feel nourished and energized each day.

Time after time, students will give our kitchen staff some of their favorite recipes from home only to find it on the menu the following week for the school to enjoy. Anytime an Eagle Hill student walks into the Chapman Dining Commons, our kitchen team of twenty professionals understand who they are. Catering to everyone, from picky eaters to those with dietary restrictions, the dining experience at Eagle Hill is as personalized as every other aspect of student life.

Culinary Experience

Now let’s talk about one of the most important parts—the food itself. 

Like all of Eagle Hill School, our dining experience is unique. Our food is not outsourced to some large corporation already prepackaged and precooked. We are proud to support many of our local farms and businesses to cook meals in our kitchen each day.

Served in an open buffet style similar to most universities, our students are met with a few consistent food options, such as our Boar’s Head deli, our fresh salad bar, and our extensive selection of fresh fruit, along with a variety of home-cooked hot meals and other choices. In addition to special holiday-themed meals, once each month our community celebrates all of our student’s birthdays with a special treat prepared by our kitchen staff—a fun and popular tradition at Eagle Hill.

Cobb Cafe

Cobb Café

One of the most popular spots on campus is located directly in the heart of the PJM STEM Center—the Cobb Café.

Open around dining hours, the Cobb Café gives our students an opportunity to grab a quick drink or snack, whether they are on the go or have some time to spare. Modeled after a coffeehouse where students and teachers can meet and collaborate, the café serves as a social hub for our community.

Stocked with freshly brewed coffee, homemade smoothies, sports drinks, snacks, and more, students can use cash or a debit/credit card to grab what they need!

Farm Fresh

We are proud to have our extensive selection of fruits and vegetables locally sourced from some of the best farms in western Massachusetts, including Hunt Road Berry Farm in the nearby town of West Brookfield, Massachusetts.

Where’s the Beef?

Maple Hill Farm, located directly in Hardwick, Massachusetts provides Eagle Hill students with some of the best, grass-fed beef in the region. 

Fisherman's Catch

Seafood is delivered fresh from the coast of Massachusetts the same day it’s caught, and the Eagle Hill kitchen serves amazing seafood dishes almost weekly.
