Student Leadership

Every student deserves the opportunity to experience all that the academic journey has to offer. The Department of Student Life has been designed to provide a comfortable environment that both reinforces the lessons taught during the class day and encourages our students to explore their extracurricular and personal interests.

Eagle Hill School fosters a spirit of community and encourages involvement and engagement both in and out of the classroom. Students develop and nurture life skills necessary for college and beyond through participation in a residential program that is much more than the dormitories on campus.

Athletics, clubs, activities and weekend trips are specifically chosen to challenge and inspire our students to find new strengths. Every student should feel comfortable with the person they are today while they find the person they will become.

New Student Orientation Program

After a rigorous three-day training, orientation leaders have the responsibility of leading new students through a series of presentations and activities to familiarize them with the important aspects of both academic and student life at Eagle Hill. Not only are new students more fully prepared to begin their career at EHS, but the process of bonding among new and veteran students gets a jumpstart strengthening the student community and setting a positive tone for the year to come.

Summer Leadership Interns

Current students have the opportunity for a paid five-week summer internship serving as role models for the traditionally younger population of the Eagle Hill Summer Program. Student Interns serve as faculty assistants and student leaders in a wide range of capacities throughout the summer.

Student Council

Student Council meets weekly to discuss student issues and plan community-building events. Student Council officers include president, vice-president, and secretary. Representatives are also elected in each dormitory.
