Eagle Hill School is seeking an Associate Director-Development and Stewardship to join our advancement team on development initiatives and alumni/ae relations.

Roles & Responsibilities

ALUMNI RELATIONS

  • Expand and deepen alumni relationships through strengthened engagement
  • Develop plans for alumni interaction, networking, and communication
  • Work with advancement staff to identify, coordinate, and execute opportunities for on and off campus events
  • Seek out and promote synergies between current and alumni parent base and alumni network for internship, mentoring, and employment opportunities 
  • Update and maintain alumni and alumni family information and database
  • Collaborate with advancement, admissions, and communications to create and develop alumni leadership and volunteer assignments to expand a robust, informed alumni network
  • Other duties as assigned

COMMUNICATIONS-CONTENT CREATION & OUTREACH

  • In coordination with the director of marketing and communications, develop and execute a strategic social media strategy for current and alumni audiences
  • Promote noteworthy developments and news through the creation and dissemination of newsletters, periodicals, and email campaigns in collaboration with and under the guidance of marketing and communications
  • Other duties as assigned

STEWARDSHIP

  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive outreach to past donors and benefactors through written and in-person methods
  • Work with advancement to keep former supporters abreast of ongoing campaign/funding priorities and identify candidates for continued support
  • Maintain stewardship and reporting for existing endowed fund and scholarship donors, including gathering personal reports from recipient students
  • Develop stewardship programs in collaboration with advancement to ensure that loyalty donors, leadership donors, and legacy donors are appropriately recognized for the nature and scope of their commitments
  • Other duties as assigned

CAMPUS LIFE

  • Periodically perform duties on campus within the student life program
  • Occasional weekend support duties 

Qualifications

  • Collaborative mindset, creativity, and ability to independently manage multiple projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to initiate and develop relationships with colleagues, external stakeholders, and more
