Holocaust Educator Speaks at Eagle hill School

Eagle Hill School
Warren Marcus, a speaker from the education division of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, spoke during an all-school symposium at Eagle Hill School this week. His talk titled “Hatred, Antisemitism, and the Holocaust” was not only designed to teach students about the Holocaust but also to educate them about their responsibilities as citizens and to remind them of the dangers of being silent or indifferent to political events. Marcus facilitated a group workshop helping students discuss how fragile democracy can be and the roots and ramifications of hate. His closing reminded students that “What you do matters.”
