Eagle Hill School Wrestlers Qualify for the 2020 NEISWA Championships

Eagle Hill School’s wrestling team had an impressive performance on February 5th, at the Eastern Independent League wrestling tournament held at Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.  This is a qualifying event for the 2020 New England Independent School Wrestling Association (NEISWA) championships.
Eight teams competed at the event with ninety-three wrestlers participating. All Hill members of the EHS team had the opportunity to compete in a minimum of two matches over the course of the tournament and a number of our wrestlers vied for the top three podium finish.
Our Pioneers wrestled very well and Eagle Hill was able to place fifth overall at the tournament.  We also had five wrestlers who placed in the top three at the event!

Members of the team who finish in the top two are now qualified to participate in the 2020 New England Independent School Wrestling Association championships to be held on February 14-15th at the Hartford Armory, Hartford, Connecticut.
