Ms. Meghan Rickert
Meg Rickert is originally from central Virginia, where she earned her BS in social studies from Radford University and her MAT in special education from Randolph College. She began her teaching career as a special education teacher at a local Title I elementary school. There Ms. Rickert worked closely not just with her peers, but with her students and their families, to best meet the needs of her students and help them progress (academically, socially, and emotionally) in whatever ways she could.
Along with her passion for helping others, she also found a love for phonics through her Orton-Gillingham training. After her fiancé accepted a position up in Massachusetts, Ms. Rickert did some research and discovered Eagle Hill.
Along with her partner, Ms. Rickert also has two dogs and a growing collection of plants. In her free time you can find her crafting, painting, reading (her ALL-TIME favorite being the Harry Potter series), or playing with her dogs.
