Mr. Jason Przypek

IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and Department Chair

Jason Przypek received his BA in history from Assumption College in 1991. That fall, he began his teaching career as a teaching assistant in graduate school at Purdue University. After receiving his MA in history, he traveled to Poland, where he taught English at the University of Opole.

Over the next seven years, he remained in Poland teaching English and American studies at a public high school, as well as at a fledgling private school for students with learning differences. He tutored extensively and translated for the municipal and regional government.

After resettling in the United States, Mr. Przypek began teaching at Eagle Hill School in the fall of 2000. In history, his interests include U.S. history and the two world wars. He is an academic advisor, the chair of the History Department, and the IB Diploma Programme coordinator.
