Given virtually all Eagle Hill graduates matriculate to college, the primary function of the college counseling office is to facilitate the college search and application process. With their decades of experience, EHS college counselors help each student and their family find colleges that are good fits based on the student’s interests, needs, and goals. College counselors recommend colleges, levels of support, and necessary accommodations for each student during his or her junior year. The counselors work closely with seniors to help them prepare and submit strong applications for positive results. The partnership is quite effective, as an average of 80% of students’ applications result in acceptances.
The annual Junior College Forum is a major component in the EHS college counseling process. The College Counseling Office, joined by college support specialists and college admission representatives, offer informative presentations for juniors and their parents to prepare them for the college search, visit, and selection process. The College Counseling Guide, containing much of the forum’s information is available in a downloadable PDF format. To receive your free copy, please fill out the online form below.
