Talking Lucky Stiff on the Radio
Eagle Hill students go live on The Valley’s Classic Hits 97.7 with Lucky Stiff preview.
Earlier this year, Eagle Hill students made their radio debut promoting A Charlie Brown Christmas—and now they’ve returned to the airwaves to spotlight their latest production, Lucky Stiff. Thanks to our ongoing partnership with local station The Valley’s Classic Hits 97.7FM, Brandon B. ’28 and Eva G. ’28 took to the studio, joined by staff members Will Gelinas, Isabella Gentleman, and Molly Romaker.
The students offered listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the musical and shared their excitement for opening night.
The students offered listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the musical and shared their excitement for opening night. Their appearance is part of a long-standing collaboration between Eagle Hill’s Multicultural Center and Classic Hits 97.7, which continues to offer students unique opportunities to share their voices and creative work with the broader community.
Bruce Marshall, Vice President and General Manager of the station has been a consistent supporter of the arts at Eagle Hill, regularly inviting staff—and now students—on-air to highlight upcoming productions.
“It has really been an excellent experience for our students to have the chance to speak to people beyond Eagle Hill about what they’ve been working on so diligently on campus,” said Molly Romaker.
Lucky Stiff opens during Family Weekend, and the cast and crew are eager to welcome a full audience.
