 Meet Eagle Hill’s newest reading teacher Tracy Jaskot.

Eagle Hill's newest reading teacher, Tracy Jaskot, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for literacy shaped by her 19-year career as a classroom teacher and reading specialist. With an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Boston College and a Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College, Tracy’s journey into teaching began with a deep love for music, but her personal experience growing up led her to become a reading educator.

From a young age, Tracy was deeply involved in helping a family member with dyslexia overcome reading challenges. This experience inspired her to pursue a career in education, determined to become the kind of teacher her family members—and others—deserved.

Tracy’s teaching career spans private and public schools in Hawaii and Massachusetts, most recently as a fifth-grade ELA/homeroom teacher in Worcester Public Schools. At Eagle Hill, Tracy is excited to draw upon her experience to deliver personalized reading instruction. She is passionate about recognizing each student's strengths and potential and emphasizes building meaningful relationships. She hopes to empower students to take risks and embrace challenges in their reading journey by fostering a safe and supportive environment.

In addition to her work in the classroom, Tracy desires to contribute to the school community beyond her role as a reading teacher. She looks forward to collaborating with other faculty members and supporting students in all areas of their academic and personal growth, including music.

With her passion for literacy, dedication to student success, and deep understanding of the challenges students face, Tracy Jaskot is an exciting addition to the Eagle Hill community.
