­Eagle Hill Family Weekend 2024

A Celebration of Community and Achievement

Eagle Hill School recently hosted its much-anticipated Family Weekend, a celebration that brought together students, parents, faculty, and alumni/ae from across the world. The campus was filled with excitement as families immersed themselves in various events.

The festivities kicked off on Thursday as families arrived on campus, eager to reconnect with their children and participate in the weekend's lineup of events. A highlight of the evening was the Family Arts Reception, where parents dined with their children and admired the artistic talents showcased by the students.

Friday saw a dynamic start with Mini-School sessions tailored for parents, offering them a glimpse into their children's daily academic lives. Parents rotated through abbreviated versions of their kids' classes, spending 15 minutes in each subject, gaining valuable insights into their educational experiences. Following this, the College Counseling department organized presentations designed to navigate students through the complexities of the college application process, previewing Junior year and a High School Roadmap to ensure students and families prepare for the next phase of their academic journey.

A highlight of the evening was the Family Arts Reception, where parents dined with their children and admired the artistic talents showcased by the students.

The day continued with spirit as the Eagle Hill community gathered for the Pioneer Tailgate, cheering on the Lacrosse and Tennis teams as they secured victories on the field. Following the games, families packed the auditorium to witness a spectacular performance of "High School Musical," showcasing the talent and dedication of the school's performing arts program.

Saturday dawned with energy and excitement as families embarked on a campus walk led by the Girl's Leadership group, fostering connections and camaraderie among participants. The afternoon held thrilling sporting events, including the SENE Ultimate Frisbee Tournament, where Eagle Hill emerged triumphant, igniting cheers of "Go No Horns!" from the enthusiastic crowd. Simultaneously, the Crew team engaged in a spirited regatta against Lenox, showcasing their teamwork and competitive spirit.

As the weekend drew to a close on Sunday, the Eagle Hill community came together once more for a heartfelt Community Breakfast, as families bid farewell, already looking forward to the next opportunity to reunite on campus.
