Colorful Connections
A Celebration of Color and Unity: Holi at Eagle Hill
Diversity is ingrained in the fabric of Eagle Hill. From our students’ backgrounds to our faculty interests and expertise, the community has widespread influence and inspiration. You can see it reflected in our curriculum, student activities, and campus life. We embrace cultures worldwide, not just as observers but as participants.
Recently, our campus was painted with vibrant colors in celebration of Holi, the Hindu festival that symbolizes love, unity, and the arrival of spring. Students and faculty gathered to toss bright powders into the air; pinks, blues, and yellows painted each other. Holi was more than just a celebration. History teacher Jane Alwis, who led the event, remarked, “The joy was infectious; moments like these connect us in the most meaningful way.”
We honor the traditions of our community with enthusiasm and respect. Whether through festivals like Holi, shared meals, or thoughtful discussions, we have a community where every culture is celebrated.
