Tom Archipley is the chairman and founder of Blink Device Company, a medical device start-up that creates and sells high tech electronic devices for surgical procedures. Prior to Blink, Mr. Archipley was the owner and CEO of Centurion Medical Products Corporation. Centurion’s 1,100 employees developed, manufactured, sterilized, and sold custom procedure trays and other specialty medical products to the health care industry. During his fifteen years of leadership, revenues doubled and profitability quadrupled. The company was sold in 2017.
Mr. Archipley is an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoys fly fishing. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University and his MBA with honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Archipley and his wife Dina are the proud parents of Paige and Zachary (EHS ’19). They reside in Okemos, Michigan but spend time in northern Michigan and winters skiing in Telluride, Colorado. They are actively involved in supporting various organizations, including Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project in Uganda, the Navy SEAL Family Foundation, CRISMA (Center of Rehabilitation of San Miguel de Allende), the Patriot Post, Love and Respect Ministries, That Day Ministries, the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center, and Safari Club International, among others.
