Candy Alsop moved to New England from Texas in 1972. After launching three children, she returned to teaching at the Pike School, a private elementary school in Andover, Massachusetts, where she taught in grades three to five until 1995 and where she continues to do admission testing. In 1996, Ms. Alsop became involved in the nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding center, Windrush Farms, located in Boxford, Massachusetts. She serves as a volunteer and a member of the board of directors. Additionally, Candy helps with various canine rescue centers placing dogs in “forever” homes.

Ms. Alsop resides in Andover, Massachusetts, and in Warren, Vermont. She has three adult children; the youngest, Elizabeth, attended Eagle Hill School from 1997 through graduation in 2000. In addition to being a strong supporter and volunteering on behalf of EHS, she was an original member of the Annual Giving Fund Steering Committee, now called the Parent Advisory Board.

Ms. Alsop is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
