Eagle Hill School—January 2021 Return

Our ability to sustain in-person learning all the way through to Thanksgiving was a study in preparation, commitment, and sacrifice. Our sincerest appreciation goes out to our EHS students and parents for being supremely supportive of our efforts, our protocols, and our adherence to restrictions. As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise in our surrounding communities, and throughout the state and the country, our ability to successfully navigate in-person learning through the winter months is going to be all the more challenging.

Of course, given that overcoming challenges is in our organizational DNA, we are prepared to do whatever is necessary to attain and maintain a healthy and safe classroom experience for all of our students and faculty.

As we did in the fall, we will continue to remain flexible, proactive, and prepared to react to changing conditions during this very fluid time, so these protocols are subject to change as necessary.

Prevention and Containment

In accordance with public health guidelines regarding the prevention of the transmission of COVID-19, students will be required to follow three basic guidelines: physical distancing, mask-wearing, and handwashing/sanitizing.

Moreover, Eagle Hill School will employ a phased activity system that will be responsive to changing COVID-19 conditions as they relate to external visitation, weekend trips, athletics, dining, and other elements of campus life.

Eagle Hill School is committed to providing the highest standard of sanitation, health, and safety protocols throughout campus to minimize the presence and transmission of COVID-19. We will also closely monitor the conditions at Eagle Hill, in the local area, and nationally, and we will adjust our restrictions as circumstances warrant.
