Summer Programs

1 - Traditional Summer Session

Eagle Hill’s Traditional Summer Session blends the experience of a classic five-week summer camp with our unique approach to educating diverse learners.

The course offerings and activities are designed to help students ages 10-16 have a fun-filled summer while building confidence and paving the road for academic success in the fall. There’s a reason so many families have fallen in love with Eagle Hill after participating in the summer program!

2 - New Student Orientation

The New Student Summer Orientation Program is a five-week summer experience designed intentionally and specifically for students starting their first year at Eagle Hill in September.

New Student Orientation Program students enroll in five courses offered through EHS's traditional summer program and two courses for academic credit—Seminar On Learning and Adventure Ropes—that are for Orientation Program participants only. Additionally, there is a program of social activities designed exclusively for Orientation participants, culminating in a summer-ending white water rafting trip.

3 - Leader In Training

The Leader in Training (LIT) program is a leadership program for Eagle Hill students who want to continue to develop and practice life-long leadership skills. The program blends workshops, supervised opportunities to assist the younger summer students, special off-campus trips and service learning with classroom and camp activities. Leader in Training will also earn credits that meet enrichment requirements for the EHS academic year.

LIT’s will also participate in weekly service learning projects. LIT’s are a distinct group of students. They are summer students with a specific curriculum and set of responsibilities, but they are not interns or faculty; they are in training to become better leaders and to perhaps take on greater responsibility in summers to come.
